Judith's Story
I woke up that day I just knew something wasn’t right. It wasn’t my girls but even though it wasn’t my day to visit my parents I felt I had to wrap the girls up against the weather outside and walk the 2 odd miles from our village to Buckingham. But the oddest thing was that my home was filled with the perfume of roses. There were no roses in the garden outside my part of the house, or anywhere near the house.
I put Penny in the pram and Andrea even at that tender age could walk for miles, and so we set off, still surrounded by the perfume of roses. Weird. As we neared my parents home we met a woman who knew me from childhood and said how sorry she was to hear about my father. We had no telephone at my residence. I asked what she knew and she said he’d been taken by ambulance to hospital during the night.
It must have been nearly midday when I arrived at my parents home and my mother was there as her father lived with them. He was old and blind. My father had experienced a huge cardiac infarction and was dangerously ill, in intensive care in Aylesbury, our nearest large town 17 miles away. In those days rules about visiting were strict and awful, plus Mummy had my grandfather to care for. To cut to the point. For three full days and nights (and then it gradually faded for a further two days) whilst Daddy’s life hung by a thread, I lived in a pink cloud of rose perfume and I was enabled to uphold myself, my parents and care for my girls.

We can learn two things from Judith's story. Firstly, her experience was verified. She knew intuitively that the scent of roses was connected somehow with her parents. Secondly, she acted upon it. We all receive Realm-2 messages, but perhaps, like Dave, we dismiss them as the "mind playing tricks". If we do this, then Realm-2 retreats from us and leaves us alone for a while. On the other hand, if we accept the message and act on it, we strengthen our connection with Realm-2. We become more open to the workings of spirit in life, and we begin to expand our understanding of who we are. Life begins to take on deeper colours and richer experiences.
Realm-1 experiences come through our senses. Where do Realm-2 experiences come from? The answer is simple, they come through new senses.
