Sheldrake's experiments were published in the Journal for Scientific Exploration, an academically respectable journal. They were also duplicated by other researchers. Their information was also published. We might be forgiven for thinking that these experiments would establish at least one Realm-2 experience in the realm of science. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
Rupert Sheldrake being a scientist of some eminence, was invited to discuss his research on telepathy with a number of sceptics. He recounts three of these meetings in his book, The Science Delusion. In all three of these meetings and public debates, the sceptical scientist opponent had not read the relevant research. Even worse, they refused to acquaint themselves with any of the facts. Being 'reasonable' people, they had reasons for this. The first sceptic said that "telepathy was pathological science," but on being asked to present evidence for his statement was unable to point to any. The second said that telepathy was impossible, so there was no point in looking at experimental results. The third said he wasn't interested in the facts, just in doing a television program.
Sheldrake was forced to state:
"In no other field of scientific endeavour do otherwise intelligent people feel free to make claims based on prejudice and ignorance ... in relation to psychic phenomena committed materialists feel free to disregard the evidence and behave irrationally and unscientifically in the name of science and reason. They abuse the authority of science and bring rationality into disrepute."
I mentioned earlier that there is a Realm-2 reason for the behaviour of those "committed materialists". It is worth noting that Realm-2 is not opposed to thinking and reasoning. In fact Realm-2 promotes greater thinking ability.

We had an experience at a gathering where someone asked a question about the afterlife. The answer came back from another who said “there is nothing after this. This is the.end.”. Whereupon JR said “there’s only one thing wrong with that statement. You can’t prove it!” Everyone laughed. The reason I tell the story, is we need to have had the experience to know.
